View this email in your browser August 2019 Newsletter Summer is in full swing and the grapes are looking great. In 2019, we had almost a frost free spring which allowed the shoots to push evenly producing a nice balanced set for the grapevines. This strong set, along with a rainy winter and spring, has forced us to aggressively thin our crop to produce a more balanced, higher quality yield. Because of this, we expect to see a lot of variability in many winery's wines in 2019, unless they are thinning their crop to produce higher quality fruit as we are doing. If things continue as they are, you can expect another high quality vintage from The Winery SF in 2019! This upcoming weekend is one of my favorite times of the year as it is time for our New Release Party!  Join us on Sunday, August 18th from 12p-5p for The Winery SF New Release Party featuring the release of our new 2016 North Coast Pinot Noir and the first release of our new Sweeeet Zinfandel - a full bodied Zinfandel with just the perfect amount of sweetness. Join us on Sunday for a day of food and wine with a beautiful day along the San Francisco Bay waterfront on our outdoor deck and patio.  In addition to our new release party, we are planning a number of fun events this summer and into the fall including our Mid-Summer Drink Pink event, Canine & Cabs Quarterly Dog Event, National Popcorn Day Celebration with a free popcorn bar, National Pinot Noir Day Celebration Weekend and our ever popular Labor Day Bacchus & BBQ event over the Labor Day Weekend.  For complete details on these and all of our upcoming events, please see our upcoming events listing below.  With summer in full swing and all the great activities at The Winery SF, there are many reasons for you to come visit us.
